Emeraldline LLC
Version 1.1
Effective: September 1, 2026
1. Who We Are and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Emeraldline LLC ("Emeraldline," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information in connection with emeraldlinegulfcoast.com, Free Sample Alerts, paid subscriptions, opportunity alerts, Status Summaries, support, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Emeraldline is a business-to-business government opportunity-intelligence service based in Florida. This Policy applies to prospects, business contacts, Sample Alert requesters, subscribers, designated recipients, website visitors, and people who communicate with us about the Service.
2. Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect business name, contact name, email address, optional phone number, website or business-page information, desired work or services, service geography, exclusions, niche-work descriptions, project preferences, project-size preferences, prime/subcontractor preferences, Additional Notes, and similar profile information.
For subscribers, we may also collect up to two recipient names and email addresses, profile updates, Status Summary preferences, alert feedback, support correspondence, cancellation status, optional cancellation reason, and referral information when applicable.
If you contact Emeraldline, we may retain the information in your message and our response.
3. Public-Business Research and Enrichment
Emeraldline may supplement information you provide with publicly available business information to reduce form friction and improve matching. Sources may include a business’s public website or business page, public licensing or registration information, public procurement records, government records, public directories, and other publicly available business sources.
We use public-business research to understand observable business facts, improve the business profile, reduce duplicate records, qualify business identity, and improve matching. We do not use public enrichment to make credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other legally significant consumer decisions.
4. Subscription and Payment Information
Stripe is Emeraldline’s founding payment processor. When you subscribe or manage billing, Stripe collects and processes payment-card credentials and related payment information. Emeraldline does not store your full payment-card number, card security code, or other payment-card credentials.
Emeraldline may receive and retain provider information needed to administer the subscription, such as Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, invoice or payment identifiers, payment and subscription status, billing events, and reconciliation or payout references.
Stripe processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.
5. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the website or use Service features, Emeraldline and its hosting, security, email-delivery, and other service providers may automatically process standard technical information needed to operate and protect the Service. This may include IP address, device or browser information, timestamps, requested pages or endpoints, server logs, authentication or security events, error logs, and similar operational data.
Email-delivery infrastructure may process delivery status, bounce, complaint, suppression, and webhook or event information needed to deliver and protect Emeraldline communications.
Emeraldline does not currently use non-essential website analytics, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking on the Emeraldline website. If Emeraldline later introduces materially different analytics, cookie, or tracking practices, this Policy will be updated as appropriate before those practices are relied upon.
6. How We Use Information
We may use information to: provide and administer Free Sample Alerts and paid subscriptions; create and maintain business profiles; research and enrich public-business information; match opportunities against profile criteria; rank and personalize matches; send alerts, material updates, and Status Summaries; process billing and account status; provide support; administer referrals; detect duplicate or abusive Sample requests; maintain delivery and audit records; secure and troubleshoot the Service; comply with law; maintain accounting and business records; and improve Emeraldline’s operations and service quality.
Customer feedback is primarily used as a customer-specific learning signal. Explicit required profile criteria remain the controlling hard rules unless the profile is actually updated.
7. Sample Alert Communications
A Free Sample Alert request initiates the requested Sample Alert and Emeraldline’s related short follow-up sequence: a Day 2/3 check-in and a Day 7 final follow-up. After that sequence, Emeraldline stops active Sample follow-up unless the business separately engages with us, subscribes, or otherwise requests communication.
A Sample request does not enroll the business in unrelated or indefinite marketing. Marketing opt-outs are honored.
8. Paid Service Communications
Paid subscribers and their designated recipients may receive opportunity alerts, material amendments or status changes, Status Summaries, activation and profile notices, billing and cancellation notices, security notices, support responses, and other communications needed to deliver or administer the Service.
A marketing opt-out does not automatically block legitimate paid-service communications while the subscription remains active. Emeraldline keeps marketing suppression separate from operational service delivery.
9. Marketing Communications
Emeraldline may send commercial or acquisition communications such as Sample-related follow-up, manual business outreach, or other future marketing that is consistent with applicable law and this Policy.
You may opt out of marketing by using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting Emeraldline. We may retain a suppression record so that we can honor the opt-out. Opting out of marketing does not require deletion of your business or subscriber profile and does not stop service communications that are necessary to an active subscription.
10. Service Providers and Business Partners
Emeraldline uses service providers to operate the business and Service. Depending on implementation, these providers may include payment processors, hosting and database providers, email-delivery providers, security providers, domain or infrastructure providers, analytics providers if later implemented, and other vendors that support business operations.
These providers may process information on Emeraldline’s behalf as reasonably necessary to provide their services. We do not describe routine service-provider processing as if Emeraldline never shares information.
Stripe is specifically used for founding payment processing and subscription administration. Other infrastructure providers may change as Emeraldline evolves.
11. Legal, Safety, and Government Disclosures
Emeraldline may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, a valid governmental request, tax or accounting obligations, fraud prevention, security investigations, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, or protection of Emeraldline, its customers, providers, or others.
We may also preserve information when legally required or reasonably necessary for a pending dispute, investigation, or legal hold.
12. Business Transfers
If Emeraldline is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and reasonable confidentiality protections.
13. Security
Emeraldline uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the size and operations of the business. Safeguards may include access controls, managed hosting and database protections, security monitoring, provider controls, backups, and operational procedures as implemented.
No system is perfectly secure, and Emeraldline cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or other security incidents will never occur. If a security incident affects information subject to applicable breach-notification law, Emeraldline will address notification and response obligations as required by law.
14. Retention
Emeraldline retains information for as long as reasonably useful for providing the Service, maintaining business and customer history, supporting reactivation, improving matching, maintaining audit and delivery records, protecting the business, and satisfying legitimate legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud, dispute, and enforcement needs.
Canceled subscriber profiles are generally retained unless deletion is requested or Emeraldline later adopts a different retention policy. Retention of a canceled profile does not authorize continued paid-service delivery or unrelated marketing.
Retention periods can vary by data type and purpose. Emeraldline does not promise absolute or instantaneous deletion of every record, particularly where retention remains reasonably necessary or legally required.
15. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
During the founding phase, you may contact Emeraldline by email to request reasonable access to, correction of, or deletion of business-profile or contact information associated with you or your business.
These mechanisms are offered as practical account and privacy controls and are not intended to state that a particular privacy statute applies to every requester. Emeraldline may verify a request before acting and may deny or limit a request when information must reasonably be retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud, security, dispute, enforcement, or other legitimate recordkeeping purposes.
Deletion or correction of current profile data does not require Emeraldline to rewrite historical alerts, invoices, accounting records, audit records, or other records that accurately reflected prior activity.
16. Cookies and Analytics
Emeraldline may use cookies or similar local storage when needed for ordinary website operation, security, session management, or other implemented Service features. Emeraldline does not currently use non-essential website analytics, advertising cookies, advertising technologies, or cross-site tracking on the Emeraldline website. If these practices materially change, Emeraldline will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate before relying on the changed practices.
17. Children and Minors
Emeraldline is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through the Service. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Emeraldline inappropriately, contact us so we can review the issue.
18. Out-of-State and Other Users
Emeraldline operates from Florida and provides a U.S.-based business service. Business contacts and subscribers may be located outside Florida. Information may be processed and stored in the United States by Emeraldline and its service providers.
Privacy, marketing, and recurring-billing laws can vary by jurisdiction. This Policy provides the practices described here to users generally, but it does not state that every statutory privacy right or local law applies to every business contact. Emeraldline will comply with laws that are applicable to it based on the relevant facts.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Emeraldline may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, law, or data practices change. The current version and effective date will be posted at emeraldlinegulfcoast.com.
If a change materially affects how we handle information already collected, Emeraldline will provide additional notice when required or appropriate.
